Hover.in

I interned at hover.in for a few months last year. Hover is a simple and easy to implement in-context user engagement platform. Bhasker had hired me to help draw some comic strips but i ended up designing and helping with whatever i could. I usually made mock ups for companies that wanted to use hoverlets in their sites. Here are a few things i made for them

Deviant Critters illustrations

These are some illustrations i made for the deviant critters website. Some of the main objectives of our game were to procreate and battle so i made the egg for the procreation bit and we figured a menacing eye would be good for battle. The initial idea was an illustration of sharp teeth dripping blood but we felt that was a bit too gruesome and might deter the casual gamer. It also seemed to make the game fall into the stereotypical fantasy animal battle type of game. So menacing tiger eye it was.

Deviant Critters!

Here's a little artwork i made for a game that my friends, sidhantmichelle and rishi, and i had planned on making a while back. We never finished it owing to the fact that we overestimated the power of an idea. Inspired by some fantastic battle systems, supported by the experience gained by the many years spent playing rpgs and empowered by the internet, we set out to create an incredible online gaming experience. Complex and dynamic yet simple and intuitive, nothing could stop this game. Alas reality hit us sooner than we thought. We got busy with work and college and developing a game of the level we had dreamed of was not as easy as we thought. But we will finish it some day in the future. If krizeudinova will it.

This here's the logo. I went through many alternatives but finally decided on good ol' impact to do the trick.
